Vergil yanked Dante's coat open and down in one quick move, pulling his arms back and trapping them. Dante stumbled, spreading his feet wider to brace himself now that he couldn't lean on the bookshelf, and Lady adjusted her grip on him, trying to find more stable purchase before they overbalanced.
