Also, I can't really tell from the pictures, but did you make like a scar on her face like she has? Just curious.

But kalina ann was incredily lightweight and it only got a wee bit awkward to hold when I had to maneuver through large crowds. Mainly because it was borken but if I held it up on my shoulder pointing upwards it would stay out of the way of people. Plus if my friend lost me they could see me above everyone :P

I was wondering if you had any cool and clear and bigass reference pictures of Lady's ammo belt? Yeeees, I'm gonna cosplay her in the upcoming Finnish Animecon08.
If, and that's really an if, I can get it done in time. *sweat*
I think I'm not attempting Kalina Ann, 'cause I don't have enough time AND I know I can't work like 8 hours a day without eventually starting to cry, cut my wrists and commit suicide. XP Carrying a HUGE gun like that would be like so cool, though. ^o^

I went by that or anything else similar. But pretty much as long as you give yourself enough time for the costume and pace yourself you should be fine. I kind of left making Kalina Ann a bit late bit it came together but never again. I don't like having to worry about gettting things done or not.
I love having the gun but carry it became a pain when we had somewhere to be and people kept asking for pictures >.

How many ammopouchespocketthings did you make for the belt? What materials did you use for them? I'm sorry for asking random questions.... I just thought I could use the help of somebody who has done a Lady before. o_o

For the ammo pouches I had two larger ones, one on the front and one on the back and then 6 smaller ones, three inbetween the larger ones on either side. As for materials I used those flexiable plastic placemats, they were christmas ones actually. and I used Vinyl pieces I had left over for the sides to hold them together. It kind of sucked though because the glue melted on them so they were falling off and apart so it needs a few repairs but it worked well, they were slightly stiff and the belt weighed a fair amount despite the fabric but it was good.
