Is the last story we're waiting on a second-gift fic for someone who has already received a gift? If that's the case, I think that reveals should be posted. We've all been waiting a very long time, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to be able to release my story to my flist and readers.

No, it's not :\ That's what's making the situation tricky for me. If that was the case I would have posted the reveal ages ago, because making you and everyone else wait so long is ridiculous, trust me, I know. I've been trying to work out the best solution, and hopefully if everything falls into place you guys won't have to wait much longer, like one-two days tops. I wish I could have better news for you, though, sorry. :(

Haha, yeah it is. I've tried to not pull the woe-is-me card this whole time, but man, I couldn't catch a break. Between not being informed that the exchange was even being started when it was and then having all mod duties dropped on me after assignments were sent out, I think I've developed a crazy newfound appreciation for every exchange mod in existence.

It's been a month since the last posting and three weeks since we heard the last story would be up 'in a few short days' - do we assume this is abandoned and make free to repost to other comms and whatnot under our own names?

Since I haven't received a gift and there's only one left to post, I'm going to assume that the gift is for me. I know I emailed this to the mod account a couple weeks ago but I'll just reiterate it here.

I just wanted to let you know that I am totally cool with not receiving a gift or having mine posted after the master list is up. I know from experience that last minute pinch hits sometimes don't go smoothly. I enjoyed writing for the exchange and reading all the stories so if you'd like to go ahead and do the master list and skip my gift there would be no disappointment on my part.
