Nice day for a run

Ran the 5k portion of the Raleigh Old Reliable Run today. I was fairly happy with my time. I completed the course in around 28 minutes (though I don't have my official time yet). This was the first year the main start and finish point was on the newly opened Fayetteville Street. It was pretty cool to run down the middle of the road with all of the

Congratulations on your 28 minute time - I think I was stuck in traffic due to the race for longer than that over on Morgan St.

Heh, cool, I did that run, too. It was my first official 5k. I don't remember what my time was (though I know it's posted somewhere), but I didn't come in last, woohoo!!!

Cool deal. I'd like to do the 10k next year, but I will have the kid by that point, so who knows what kind of shape I'll be in.
