August Voting!
Voting Time!
Mod Note: It can be difficult for a participating author to vote when we have only a few drabbles submitted. In light of that, I am amending Voting Rule #2, below: If four (4) or fewer drabbles are submitted, authors are NOT required to vote, though they are welcome to do so if they choose.
Voting rules:
1. Do not vote for yourself, and do not ask others to vote for you.
2. (please see amended rule, above) If you participated in the challenge this month, then you are required to vote! If you do not have an LJ account, please comment with your vote so that it will be counted! Failure to vote will result in me not counting the votes for your drabble.
3. Vote for one MOST, SECOND, and THIRD favourite drabble. Votes for multiple drabbles in any category, or failure to fill out a vote for all three will result in a disqualified vote.
4. Please vote for the NUMBER, not the title, of each drabble. (Voting for a drabble by title AND number is acceptable; voting for the title only is not and I WILL NOT count votes that are done by title only.)
5. Remember the prompt for this month while voting- duel.
6. Voting closes 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, August 25th.

Well, this was a piss-poor decision on Draco's part. His left arm ached, his aim was faltering and his forehead was bleeding.
A screech announced Granger's arrival. “What is going on here?”
Weasley fired off another curse, almost hitting Draco. “What does it look like? We're duelling about you!”
“You - Are you out of your bloody minds?”
“I thought we'd settle it once and for all,” Weasley panted.
“Stupefy!” He went down. “And what have you got to say for yourself?”
“I'm an idiot?” Draco tried.
“At least you're my favourite idiot,” Hermione muttered.

“Not bad, Granger,” Malfoy drawled, as they filed out of the classroom. “If you want, we can practise behind the broom sheds. I can show you some special moves...”
“I beat you,” said Hermione, coldly. “Twice.”
“I let you.”
“No, you didn’t.”
“Yes, I did.”
“All right then,” Hermione demanded, “why?”
She locked eyes with Malfoy and held his gaze, wearing him down until, at last, his hands answered by tracing a curvy shape in the air.
“You were distracted by my breasts?”
“They bounce...”
Hermione stormed off.
But by the time she reached the Common Room, she was grinning.

Title: Zabini's Third Law of Motion

Warnings: None
“Do you trust me?” Blaise whispered while pulling Hermione closer to him.
“Yes” is all that she said and the go signal he needed.
Blaise wrapped his arms around Hermione’s waist and they slowly immersed themselves to the beat of the music.
“Blaise Zabini, I challenge you to a duel” interrupted Draco Malfoy who looked livid.
The duel started with dangerous hexes but the two were skilled enough to not get themselves injured. It ended when Draco managed to disarm Blaise, and took Hermione in his arms.
Blaise walked away with a smile, after all Draco needed was a push.

"Draco, you cad, stop it!"
"Merlin, can't a man get any sleep around here?"
"No, especially when said man does this to me every single night!"
"Does what? What's got your knickers in a twist this time? Although, if you were to take those off, we could have some fun."
"Keep your hands to yourself. And just for that, I'm drawing my wand."
"Put that thing away before you hex my balls off!"
"I'd be more worried about getting blue balls, if I were you, if you don't give me back my blankets!"
"Fine!"
Draco sulked, missing the extra warmth.
