What a unique way to get Draco and Hermione to look at themselves and their relationship with each other differently! I love the idea, and I think you executed it well; the kicker was definitely his kissing her hand at the end, as "Other Draco" was so wont to do to "Other Hermione."

I'm not sure if I just missed to whom Hermione was married:

“Remind me, if I ever get remarried,” asked Hermione, “to elope.”

I don't know if it was supposed to be an important plot-point... if not, I'd suggest cutting it if you revise. It left me waiting for the big reveal of who it had been, and/or what had happened if it was someone unsurprising like Ron. That's especially considering the pancake scene where things seemed so unchanged with the Trio from the way it's always been for the three friends.

A fun story though - I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I found this intelligent witty and mature. I think you did a great job with some complex research. The characters were really solid and I likedthe open ending.

This was a very intriguing tale involving some very complex theory. My mind boggles at the countless ways this story could have played out. Like others have said before me, I would love to see this taken further, to find out what happened to them when they managed to return.

Thank you for sharing this with us mystery author!

I'll admit it: I groaned when I read the note about the crossover. They're not my thing, but to each his own. And as the story built, I forgot it and when it became apparent how the crossover woul come into play, I literally LOL'd. A lot.

Fun story!
