Aw, what a lovely and winsome story! You've done a remarkable job with Scorpius and Rose's characters--they're just the perfect combination of plucky insouciance and little kid rascaldom (e.g. the putt putt golf scene)--and I thought it was absolutely brilliant that you turned the tables and made Scor a hufflepuff and rose a slytherin. Too damn cute.

And I'm struck by admiration with how you deftly managed the scene where HG runs into DM. It was *enjoyably* awkward (rather than teeth-gnashing-OMG-what is this author doing-awkward) and they stayed in character really well. Nice work!

Lovely premise: on holiday in a romantic country; darling, enthusiastic kids fluttering about them; and Nurse!Hermione and Sick-Baby!Draco. The best kind of fluff!

You've built the banter between them really well, to where this last bit:

Malfoy’s choking coughs stopped Hermione’s ramblings and she looked up from her notebook. He was giving her an odd look, struggling to hold back his laughter, “Granger, did you plan out when we're to go to the loo as well?"

Hermione blushed.

...is perfect. Great rhythm to it!

I am thoroughly enjoying this story thus far. Characterizations are wonderful - Sea-sick Draco was so much fun (I can intimately relate, the poor darling)! Hermione's such a patient martyr (I'd have thrown a pillow at D and walked out, letting him vomit his guts out)! Rose & Scor are such mischief-makers (do I detect their romance in the air???)!

I could just picture the scene you didn't include with the pre-requisite pre-launch emergency information for the boat that they always do before any cruise (i.e. you line-up, find out which lifeboats you're to head for in case of the worst-case scenario, and learn how to put on a flotation vest, etc.). Malfoy would have flipped, I'm sure. :)

Next chappy...

Draco certainly is the proverbial wet blanket on what is supposed to be a fun holiday. He is obviously awful at playing the part of Muggle tourist and I'm quite surprised that Hermione hasn't shoved him overboard yet.
