So much thought (obviously) went into this. And on short notice, too! I don't need to tell you what I think of this, I gather, "mystery" author ;) Another lovely piece. Yet again, your insults make me giggle. Alwaaaays.

Thanks again for being the beta for this on such short notice -- and so sorry for not crediting you for your amazing work on this! I need a brain transplant. And I have to especially thank you for the suggestion of how to identify dates without giving away too much! :) Many, many thanks!

The quality of your writing with regard to language use and accuracy of grammar is undeniable. The format, I found very difficult to follow, and both of my largest works have made heavy use of alternating flashbacks and present-day narrative, so it's a strategy that's not at all unfamiliar to me. I think it's because it felt like there wasn't a specific reason for the shifts in time frame, at least none that my probably-distracted brain could discern. The lack of dialogue tags also made it challenging to follow conversation at times. The premise was very subtle and it took me a while to figure it out and develop an appreciation for it. I think this will require a second read before I feel like I've really digested it well. Intriguing, for certain.

I sorry for any confusion! I know it's not really an explanation for it, but the order of the scenes is pretty much how the story unfolded for me, and because I was writing out of sequence, there were certain details about earlier times, story-chronologically, that were revealed later, so arranging everything in proper sequence didn't flow as well -- but that may just be me. In any case, thank you for not giving up because it was confusing!

I liked the concept. However I did have a hard time following it in it's seemingly random switches between time frames. I did enjoy it though.

Thank you so much for finishing the story, even with the difficult time frames! I hope that, in spite of that, the story held together well enough that things made sense. Thanks for your thoughts!

I really enjoyed this, once I figured out how to follow it. I think the premise really interesting though, especially that of Voldemort turning on the pure bloods who had supported him. You certainly put a lot of thought into creating this world and the various back stories necessary for it to come to fruition. Nice Job!

Thank you -- so glad you liked it! I'm glad things made sense -- I found it hard to write the story at times (and on a bit of a time crunch) because there were too many ideas and plot points to cover. It was a debate between writing pure exposition and mostly dialogue. Well, you can see which won. :)

Wow. Brilliant pinch hit. Amazing. I was thrown with the out of order dates but it worked. Wonderful.

Thanks! Yes, sorry about the non-sequential order of scenes -- glad it didn't stop you from reaching the end!

Thanks! Yes, sorry about the non-sequential scenes -- I'm glad it wasn't so off-putting that you didn't bother to finish reading!
