That was just... goofy. Interesting premise though, most definitely. I loved the idea of everyone panicking because our spirits here in England were going to cost a pretty Galleon (the screaming part after Kingsley's announcement had me LOLing), and that Mrs. Zabini was the culprit behind stealing half the shipment (figures it would be Blaise's mum).

A fun romp, mystery author. Everyone needs a little silliness in their lives, I always say, and you've delivered my daily dose. Thanks! :)

mccargi summed this story up perfectly -- it's zany! You start off with the sperm whale joke and the apparent non sequitur of Hermione's deciding that she and Ron need to 'take a break' (funny, but somehow realistic!), and then keep it going with each ridiculous development, so it's not just a series of one-liners, we're in an entire zany universe. (I loved Harry's "I hate people.") And, like everyone else, I really wish you'd had time to write a bit more.

I did keep wondering, though, why the shipment went from the US to Italy on its way to the UK?

It went that way mainly to be stolen. It would have made way more sense to transport it magically... or via air! I am planning to flesh it out more so hopefully it'll be a little less holey... at this point I feel like it's more of a fishnet stocking than tights:)
