Hello all,

It still doesn't feel real, but it's time for dmhgficexchange to go as gracefully into the night as we can manage. We made the decision to retire last year from having exchanges for a number of reasons that really boil down to not having the time needed to commit. Anyone running a community like dmhgficexchange knows this is no part-time gig. My life was different

Three cheers for the mods! Thanks so much for all your hard work, for facilitating the growth of the community and allowing all these wonderful and amazing stories to come out of it, all within the last 10 years - that's no simple feat! Sad to see it go, especially since this was my first and only year participating in it, but I'm thankful for it, at least :D

I can't even begin to imagine how much work y'all did for this exchange for the bits we got to see, much less what went on behind scenes. Ten years of exchanges, ten years of amazement. This was the first exchange/fest I participated in when I joined the HP fandom, and it has always been my favorite. Thank you for this fantastic exchange, and for all you've done for this ship and the fandom.
