Keller, well yeah, she's flat, has no fire in her.

I don't like Keller either. I liked Staite in Firefly, but on SGA... ugh. I've not been impressed. Just some skinny chick for the guys to oggle after, I'm thinking. The IIC (Idiots in Charge) were NOT considering talent, me thinks. Me thinks they were thinking with their... little brains when bringing her aboard.

Carter, sigh, her presence has totally destroyed the dynamic between the leads. It's like they are all floundering around to find an identity since she walked in to save the day, once a week, for 14 episodes. Rodney is pretty much redundant as is John.OMG! I've thought this too!!! ESPECIALLY after watching Dopplegangers. I couldn't understand why everyone loved it so much. For me, Carter ruined the entire thing with her dynamic.. or lack thereof. I never hated her on SG1, but I never liked her either, and the reason I stopped WATCHING SG1 was her! She's just always so damn perfect, never is wrong about anything, never does anything wrong. I definitely understand that, but I think that I was all angsty at all of the squee when I wrote these. It was simply annoying to have that buzzing my phone every two second. Ugph. But yeah, power button is certainly your friend ( ... )

Hey, I'm looking at the fifth season as a time for reason! Let's bring Carson back! Hopefully it's still something that we will be able to accomplish. It's at least a step in the right direction to getting our SGA back where it belongs!

Just maybe. We have him back for two episodes, so who's to say that we won't see him for more?

I agree with the opinion that "every-damn-body joins the new cast" because really. I have issues with sam joining them on atlantis. Isn't atlantis supposed to be a civilian run operation? Come on. And keller just isn't creating the same warm fuzzy feeling that carson does... :(
So I too, am not as enthusiastic about the new sga, but that doesn't mean I've lost all hope. I can always enjoy the old characters. :)
But they killed off heightmeyer too now, just so they could add someone new in, i bet... urgh.
So... good point. It's all so irritating.

Exactly! That expedition was supposed to be a cilian thing for once, but of course the writers went in and changed everything. And yeah, Keller definitely doesn't create the same warm feeling that Carson did. He just made you love him instantly.

I will definitely have to enjoy it for what it is, because it's not going to get any better. I was hoping they'd do in Heightmeyer, but they're just going to bring on someone else, as you said. Maybe I'll like them, because I hated that Heightmeyer. Too annoying.

*nods* I thought about not watching the show anymore, but I wanted to know what happened following the season three closer. I checked out the spoiler pages and then watched the show. Now, I'm just watching, beause what else am I going to do?

OMG! I SO hate you!! Can I move there? Can you take pictures like a spy and post them? PLEASE?! ; )

Yeah, I know what you mean. I always end up doing something when I should be writing or heading for work or whatever. Yeah, but we can rant back and forth, which is fun! Thanks. Nano starts in just under seven hours here. I hope that I can write continuously, but I already know that I'm not going to finish it. That's okay, because at least I am trying this year. : )
