Scientific Facts to Support "The Crazy"?

All right, so I'm writing this fic and I'm attempting to look through stuff on Google, but I wanted a second opinion on anything I might find.

I need to kill bugs. Not just bugs on the ground, but bugs that burrow into people's brains to lay their eggs.

Cut, because I go on from here. )

Eat lots of garlic. It has antibiotic properties.

Lavender water is also known to be antibiotic.

But WTF is this about anyway? I get the feeling there's a story here and I'm totally missing it.

Really? I didn't know that about garlic. I'll have to alter the story slightly to use that tip. Thanks so much!

Ha! I'm doing Nano and one of the first problems I'm having Rodney to solve are bugs that burrowed into people's brains. = D

How have you been?

Yep! I seem to recall reading somewhere that the large amount of garlic that the gravediggers ate during the plague years being one of the reasons that they were resistant to said illness. Or something along those lines.

Anyway, yeah! I'm doing good! Settled into the new house, just got done with vacation, keeping hellaciously busy at work and about to go traipse down to a Pentesostal Church in the ghetto to vote! Woo-hoo!

>.<

How've you been babe?

Hrrmm! Who knew? I know that garlic is supposed to be good for you and all, but I didn't know that it would help you fight off the plague. = D

Sounds good! I took a mini vacation back in August to go see Flugtag doww in Austin. Was fun, but am long since back to work. I have discovered a hosteling system that looks promising, but I don't have the money to check it out just yet. Maybe in the future.
