Those of you who watch NFL football on TV may be aware of a practice they have undertaken. During the third quarter of each broadcast, they announce to the entire viewing audience that the telecast of the game is the property of the NFL (duh!) and that no descriptions or accounts of the game me be given without the expressed consent of the NFL. I believe this is totally untrue. The NFL broadcasts the game into my house over free television. I have no argument with the statement that the footage belongs to the NFL. They own it, and I have no right to reproduce it sell it for a profit, but they have no right to prohibit me from telling others what saw for free. Just because they say it, doesn't make it so. Just to show how ludicrous the entire statement is, as my little protest against them trying to take away me free speech rights, I will be informing others of what happened in each game that I watch. Note, I am not posting scores to games that I did not actually witness, but for the events that I saw with my own two eyes.
