I feel like challenging myself, so I'm making a list of games to work on. Games I Haven't Completed, But Should. Yeah, I know, creative name. Anyhow, I'm hoping to make the list a nice, round number, like 20 or 25, and tackle it inside, hm, I dunno, a Year? Not a MUST FINISH, but more a challenge, like I said

Being that I'm in about the same boat as you... (but a bit worse) if you're going to tackle a number higher than 20 within a year, don't count on it being easy if you have school or a full-time job.
With obstacles like that, RPGs alone can take roughly three weeks on average to complete, unless that's all you're gonna be doing whenever you're home. That's approximately 15~17 RPGs total if you crack hard at it. But believe me... after about four or five in a row, you're gonna be sick of the genre. And those tactical games like FFT? Those'll keep you busy for a good month, each.

I'd say forget about doing FF8. Sure, I have a beef with it, but in comparison, it literally IS the worst FF ever. It's not really a Final Fantasy as more a love/high school/drama plot with fighting elements in it.
Also, from my memories, the Dragon Warrior/Quest series is always good too.
as for Non-RPG's, perhaps a lil God of War or God of War 2 for some action.
