I feel like challenging myself, so I'm making a list of games to work on. Games I Haven't Completed, But Should. Yeah, I know, creative name. Anyhow, I'm hoping to make the list a nice, round number, like 20 or 25, and tackle it inside, hm, I dunno, a Year? Not a MUST FINISH, but more a challenge, like I said ( Read more... )

I can only offer advice.

Being that I'm in about the same boat as you... (but a bit worse) if you're going to tackle a number higher than 20 within a year, don't count on it being easy if you have school or a full-time job.

With obstacles like that, RPGs alone can take roughly three weeks on average to complete, unless that's all you're gonna be doing whenever you're home. That's approximately 15~17 RPGs total if you crack hard at it. But believe me... after about four or five in a row, you're gonna be sick of the genre. And those tactical games like FFT? Those'll keep you busy for a good month, each.

Just a forewarning.

I'd say throw in the suikoden series if you can find em, cause they are really good RPG's that flow faster than the FF's (which are my bread and butter). Also, pick up a copy of FF Anthology(PSX) cause it has Chrono Trigger in it.

I'd say forget about doing FF8. Sure, I have a beef with it, but in comparison, it literally IS the worst FF ever. It's not really a Final Fantasy as more a love/high school/drama plot with fighting elements in it.
Also, from my memories, the Dragon Warrior/Quest series is always good too.

as for Non-RPG's, perhaps a lil God of War or God of War 2 for some action.

Can ya narrow it down, perhaps? Those games seem huge. 108 People and such. Plus I tried one, forgot which...and the ship-battling bored me to tears.

I'd say 1 or 2 if you could find it. The 108 isn't so bad, and you can beat the game fairly easy, it's just getting all the 108 take certain steps, but not as difficult as it sounds.
