Talk with a chatty lady on the bus (totally worth reading!)
I was taking the bus home from tutoring tonight when a woman sat down in front of me and wanted to talk (despite the fact that I was reading a book). I have no problem chatting with strangers, so we had a rather interesting conversation which I thought I'd share with you.

Baby!
So I realized I told all my family, then all my close friends, then my boss, co-workers and students, and even posted on facebook, but I have yet to post on Livejournal that:

My mom found the BEST birthday card for an English teacher EVER. She was a bit worried I might be offended though, so she had to put a post-it on the inside over the joke, just in case. I've scanned it for you!

The Super Bowl
Today I was very proud of myself. I knew more about this year's Super Bowl than any other teacher in the room (and all the teachers were there except one male afternoon teacher). Also, two of these teachers were male.

Why I hate bats...
