School has just started and I realized I haven't updated this place at all. Recent updates...
Dec 25th: Christmas/First family dinner with my gf's family
Dec 31st: New Year's Eve/100 Days
Jan 1st: Second family Dinner with my gf's family
Dec 25th:
This was the first dinner I've attended with her family. She has huge family gatherings. I think you can agree that having dinner with my gf's family and 20+ cousin can be just a little nerve wrecking. Just a little. I should also mention that they are all over 30. I have to admit, her entire family is really friendly and nice. After dinner, we were all chilling in the living room. Someone popped in "Just Dance 2" into the Wii and then ppl have to take turns dancing to a song... JOY... I get to embarrass myself doing something i suck at. My gf and I went up and ended up doing something like dance. In the end, it was a good night and didn't leave a bad impression.
Dec 31st:
New Year's Eve. This day coincidentally was also the 100th day since my gf and I started dating. Tried to do something sweet for her but failed miserably due to lack to time. My excuse? I was spending too much time with her so I didn't have enough time to prepare. We went to City Hall at 11 to do the countdown. An hour early meant that you're nowhere near the radius of the stage. It was very crowded... once we got in the crowd, we can barely move. We'll probably try it again next year... but like 3 hours earlier. Hopefully, it'll be as warm as this year.
Jan 1st:
New Years. Second family dinner with her folks. This time, it's a smaller gathering with about 7 ppl. It went pretty good. I felt right at home. It helped when the entire family is very friendly. Of course, they invited me to future events... Looks like I didn't make a bad impression of myself this time either.
