RULES
1. NO KINK REQUESTS. Those can go on
dn_kink- they're what it's there for, after all.
2. If you make a request, please try to fill somebody else's. Even if you don't think you're the best of writers, give it a go! It'll make someone else happy, and will stop the meme from dying a rather slow death. Multiple fills for the same prompt are more than welcome unless the OP specifically reuests otherwise. If you really don't like writing, why not draw something? Do a photomanip, some cosplay, or another piece of art? So long as it's on topic, the choice is yours!
3. Please post all requests and fills anonymously. If you are the original author or artist of a fill, do feel free to post it wherever you wish, anonymously or otherwise, but on this community, anon is the way to go. In a few months we'll have a poll as to whether people think non-anonymousness is better or not, but for now, this rule is quite firmly in place.
4. Please try to keep as on topic as you can. Commenting on requests is fine (though do see 5 about this), as is some discussion between the OP and a potential/actual filler pertaining to the story, but going into detail of how the miraculous apparition of mudkips caused you to think up an urgently-needed plot device is a no-no.
5. Two 'nthing!' comments are allowed per request, no more. That is, there can be a seconder and a thirder, but beyond that any comments must be an offer to fill, a heads-up on a mistake or something similar. This prevents the meme getting clogged up with essentially useless posts.
6. Please don't let the request meander, and preferably don't spell out every detail of the storyline of your dreams. In other words, no 'D'you know, I was in my maths class looking up at the sky and it was blue and I think Mello's eyes should be like that. They were a kind of blueberry blue, like stuff in one of L's cakes, so I'd like a pairing fic involving Mello and L please, where they bake and there's lots of flour and stuff...'
Or 'I want a fic where Light goes to To-Oh and starts to fail his class, so Takada tells him about this awesome group called Kira where they bash people who are doing well who shouldn't be, and he meets Teru and L and falls in love with them both and Takada too and they have orgies and L is a detective who hates them and he organises the police to surround them and on capture Teru gives Light the ultimate smackdown before getting shot but L saves Light because they have TWOO WUV and Takada vows revenge (sequel, maybe?)'.

7. One request per comment. Bonus points are good- e..g, in a vampire fic, 'points' could be awarded for the inclusion of a werewolf clan and/or hunters, but asking for a vampire fic with L/Light and a post-series gen fic (or something similar) in the same comment is a no-no.
8. If you notice a request is very much similar to one you've seen before, give the OP a heads up- preferably with a link to the previous request and any fills it may have had.
9. Sparkles, colours, different sizes etc. are fine in comments on a fill, but not in fills and requests. We're trying to keep this thing as neat as possible.
ON POSTING REQUESTS AND FILLS
Requesting is very simple. Post an anonymous comment with your request, and voila! Including a title helps when drawing attention to your fill, though, do bear that in mind. ^^
Filling is a little bit more complex. If the part of the meme with the original request is still open, post your fill as an anonymous reply to the request. If not, post it in the most recent part, and include a link to the request at the top. When that's done, in both cases, head on over to the Fill Thread to post a link to your fill there.
