Light and L once discussed three types of people and how they'd differ if they had the killing power. I don't think they're completely accurate, but I think the three Kira's in the first arc are supposed to represent the there types discussed

True. Now that you said it, she would probably be more likely to use it against people she hates ...though if she were to only kill a 'few' people with the Death Note, maybe she would get away with murder - worse case sceanario being a suspect but with out any physical evidence... not that I would know XD

That was exactly what I was thinking to say. I think the end result would be her getting caught. It's true that Misa is smarter than she looks, but she's no match for L, not even close.

She might be able to beat regular police.

Misa doesn't seem to be particularly obsessed with ideological stuff, so yeah, she'd probably just kill her personal enemies.

Misa is not that smart. I think by nature of the Death Note she may have used it once to get revenge, but that would be it. I see her wanting to continue her career after that.

Light probably would have become a detective like his dad, L would have lived to solve many other cases, no one would have died.

She probably would have ended up kind of like Light like you said. Only she would have gotten caught a lot sooner than Light did.
