Too tell you the truth this is probably the few LightxMisa fic i've actually liked and I'm not even an LightxMisa supporter, mind you, but yeah alot of Light/Misa fic have been a little bit on the OOC side of things when it comes to Light's charater. I've read so many Light/Misa fic which have light all sympathetic and lovey dove towards Misa even it's not really in his character to willing accept things like that when it comes to relationships, he really just looks down on other people. I'm not saying that Light/Misa is The only ship that have OOC fanfics, actually alot of shiping fics in the Death Note fandom are very OOC cause well some people never done there research and know next to nothing on the characters....:/

I'm glad you thought it was in-character! I tried very hard with this one to decide exactly how Light actually felt about Misa.
