Name: Julian / Chag
Age: 23
Height: 5 foot 6
Personality:
INTJ, also known as the 'Mastermind'. I'm very introverted, prefering to remain inside with the shades drawn than go anywhere near sunlight. (Of course, I do go out in the sun on a regular basis, I just don't feel comfortable.) I remain inside whenever possible, avoiding large groups of people and focusing more on small group socialization, most especially with those that I would loosely define as 'friends'. However, my idea of friendship and theirs are often not quite the same and I tend to keep an emotional distance even from those that I call my friends. When I do let down my guard so to speak and allow myself to feel things for others, it's a strong and often irrational attatchment that results. (And yes, this has resulted in heartbreak.) I dislike crowds and direct confrontations, but when I do get involved in a confrontation, I tend to attempt to mentally outrun my opponents. I tend to believe in personal values over legal or ethical ones and subscribe to the belief that the ends will often justify the means when one has to brush up against the not-quite-legal. I'm the type to see the bright side of any situation and tend to frown upon emotional outbursts, especially when they come from myself. I like to sit back and look at the logic of a situation, ignoring the emotional aspects as much as I can because they cloud judgement. I also tend to be overly confident in my own abilities, sometimes to the point of overestimating myself and winding up with a less than successful attempt at the end of a project.
Strengths: Detail oriented, relatively unbiased, extremely analytical, high cognative skills in pattern-finding and quantitative reasoning.
Weaknesses: Spelling, emotional attatchments (or lack thereof), lack of empathy, little respect for authority other than my own.
Bad Habits: I drink too much soda! Also, if I get anything on my fingers (crumbs, or something sticky) I'll blow on them until I get lightheaded. I tend to overanalyze situations and plan for things that have a very low probability of happening.
Likes: Reading, research, writing, scripting languages (Python, PHP, etc), music, math, logic puzzles.
Dislikes: Lazy people, people who can't decide what's right and wrong for themselves, conformists, organized religion, prejudices.
Hobbies: Writing, theorizing, developing complex alternate world histories to create new settings for stories, analyzing fandom materials to find loopholes or loose strings.
Talents: Communication, finding logical errors, defining or describing things.
Interests: Engineering, Japanese, socio-cultural issues, history.
Favourite character: Matsuda-san, because he wasn't afraid to speak his mind even if what he was saying was 'wrong' or 'improper' by the standards of those around him. He decided for himself what he thought was the right thing and wasn't afraid to speak or act on it.
Least favourite character: Misa Amane, because she was far too willing to become a pawn for the sake of 'love at first sight'.
Would you use the Death Note?: Yes.
Who would you use it on, and why?: Criminals and people that I felt were useless to the world, so that the world would be a better place. I would make it a point to expose the fact that there was someone intentionally killing those who violated my moral code enough to deserve death, but I would not allow my pride to draw me into an unnecessary battle of wills.
Do you support Kira?: Absolutely.
Anything else you'd like to add?: I keep secrets very well and as such, I'm the go-to person on my hall at University for talking out problems. I not only keep my mouth shut, but I dispense advice that is sound in logic and as unbiased as I can make it. That said, I'm also very well informed about the goings-on in my dorm hall. Also, I'm female and gay.
Pictures!:
It's a bit old, but here I am! My five votes!:
One Two Three FourAnd there were no more who needed voting on yet, so that's all the votes I have so far.
