Personality: I can often be the quiet type until I get to know people, or get onto a subject that interests me. I'm pretty mature and self confidant. I don't like being a follower, but I can be a leader (or at other times, a loner). I tend to be optimistic, but only to a realistic degree - I'm not blindly idealistic. I can be a bit arrogant at times, but I try not to show it too much.

Likes: creativity, travel, sushi, warm weather, the ocean, quiet time for myself, the night sky, bright colors, mist, uniqueness, cats, mysteries, anime and manga (obviously), . . . .
Dislikes: I hate snow, cold weather, and completely overcast skies - hence I head south for college. I don't do well with mornings or rigid schedules - I can tolerate them when I have to, but I prefer to sleep in and do things in my own time. I tend to not respond well to authority, and hate being told what to do. Other things I don't like include people who are sheep, loud music, rudeness, and following the crowd.

I love learning about other cultures and other areas of the world (and traveling to them when I have the opportunity). Particular areas I've focused on are Asia (particularly East Asia) and the ancient Mediterranean (like Greece, Egypt, and a little of Rome). I'm a bit of a language fanatic, since I took 4 years of high school French, am taking my 2nd year of college Chinese, and am starting Japanese (obsessed might be a word here!)
I also enjoy mythology, including mermaids, atlantis, tales of mythological creatures, greek (and other) gods, stories of ancient Chinese sages, etc. I love fantasy, science fiction, and mysteries (I love puzzles and the unknown - which also leads to my interests in philosophy, psychology, and dreams).
Favourite character: Hard to answer, but I'll go with Raito
Least favourite character: Misa - her overdevotion to Raito, and her lack of ability to think for herself bother me
Would you use the Death Note?: I might be tempted to - hard to say
Who would you use it on, and why?: I'd probably also use it on criminals and such - but not to be a "God of the New World", but perhaps to poke it into the right direction.
Do you support Kira?: partially
Anything else you'd like to add?: I may have only been hooked on this series a week, but in that time I watched all the anime to date, and read over 80 chapters of manga (around my college schedule) - because I can get obsessive over new loves like that >.>
