i'm glad to see there's a community for the bashing of death note sues. god knows they run rampant nowadays.

what annoyed me most about this particular sue is probably the pretentious way in which she died. i mean, her spirit being carried away by dead L at her moment of death?? "here lies justice"?? oh for goodness' sake! *rolls eyes*

what's even more irritating is that the author tries (with fail) to gloss over the pretentiousness by pointing out how ordinary an unspecial the day of sue's death is: "the heavens didn’t cry for her, there was no large storm or blizzard of any kind." unless the author is under the impression that death note is a universe where it is commonplace for the weather gods to throw a tantrum everytime someone dies, i fail to see why she had to mention the weather at all.

Okay, enough ranting on my part. off to read more of your posts. :)
