So lets get to the point and never mind the fact that im a sucker for a good ol slasher flick from the 80s or even the 70s so why the hell haven't i seen the new My Bloody Valentine remake!?! I'll see it eventually when i can but has anyone else seen this film or heard any reviews? Ive only seen a few comments but nothing solid. Ill check out

I saw My Bloody Valentine in 3-D yesterday with some friends. It was in my opinion, REALLY good. Mind you, I've never seen the original so I had the opportunity to watch it with an uncritical eye. But it was good enough for me to want to watch it again next weekend. :)

And hells yeah I'm watching Friday the 13th!!! *it's Jared Padalecki dude!*

I saw MBV 3D yesterday, and I actually really enjoyed it. Granted, my expectations were low, and I've never seen the original. It was pretty much like "3-D horror movie? Okay."
But really, it was a lot of fun. It had some amusing gore, and it kept a pretty good pace. There was sort of a story without being bogged down with too much crappy acting, and the 3D was really neat. (I would share a couple of my favorite gory bits, but I don't want to spoil the shocks if you are still planning on seeing it =) ) My only real criticisms were that it could have used a little _more_ gore and they should have made more use of the 3D effects. The ones they had were great, but during some of the slower scenes I kinda forgot I was watching a 3D movie.
But whatever you do, don't bother seeing it in 2D.

I saw My Bloody Valentine and I thought it was pretty great but that is largely dependent on the fact that I saw it in 3D. If I had seen it in 2D I think I would have been really pissed haha. The 3D made it great. Plotwise, eh. I didn't care for the ending. I haven't seen the original, so I can't say how it measured up. Also, I pretty much loved that Jensen Ackles was in it.

I am dying for Friday the 13th. Jason is my absolute favorite. I've been avoiding the trailers and what not because I don't want spoilers. The only thing I know is that Jared Padalecki is in it and I kind of love him. So a Jason movie with Jared is full of win for me.

don't watch the Friday the 13th trailer, i was bummed after i saw it cause it shows so many right before the kill moments.

i saw MBV3D last night, not as good as the original but still very fun. It was awesome to see Tom Atkins again, and the 3d was cool too, not a lot of in your face 3d but the depth it created was cool. There's a little something after the credits roll too, not much just one last scare.

And HELL YES i can't wait for Friday the 13th, i just hope it's not a letdown.
