Likes: My fiancé (more than anything), writing, drawing, otherwise doing creative things, feeling like I’ve done something helpful/meaningful for someone, successfully pulling something over on someone (guilty pleasure), exploring new places, feeling like I’ve accomplished something, feeling like I’m held in esteem (I rather enjoyed my entire introductory Chinese class looking to me for help/treating me like a Chinese language god), making money, hiking/camping/otherwise being out in nature and away from society, the smell of wood fires, animals (I have a particular affinity with cats and wading birds), singing
Dislikes: Obligations being forced on me, Busywork, Large crowds, Being stressed (though I seem to be frequently), Being kept from doing things I want to do/need to do to get rid of aforementioned stress, Being kept in the same environment too long (like sometimes I just can’t stand being in my dorm room), politics, morons, people who don’t carry their own weight, people who badly abuse authority, hot weather
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Why? Reading, Writing, Drawing/Painting/Computer art, Video games... I find doing creative stuff relaxing
Who do you look up to as a model for how to live your life? Why? There isn't any one person I look up to. I have a lot of role models in different areas (like there was a counselor I really looked up to when i used to go to camp and wanted to be like her as a counselor, but it was sort of situation specific), but for overall purposes I'm really just trying to be myself.
Your best quality? Why? Intelligence. It's what causes people to look up to me and one of the factors that gains me respect, and aside from those who know me well, it's all I really care if people notice in me.
Your worst? Why? Tendency toward depression. I'm usually fairly self-confident, but then I randomly find myself feeling anxious or inadequate and it's really not fun.
The world's not a perfect place. What would you want to change about it? Why? I really wish people would stop stereotyping groups and hating them all. For example, I'm not a huge fan of Christianity, but I don't go around saying all Christians are bad. Things like that really piss me off.
You're not perfect, either. What would you change about yourself? Why?
Do you believe in people? It depends on the day and whether I've just heard about some remarkable act of idiocy committed by another human.
In yourself? Yes, usually.
If you were given the chance to become one of the characters for a short period of time, who would you choose? Why? Dark. Flying around stealing stuff sounds like fun, as long as I didn't have to do it all the time. That and it would be kind of nice to be that ridiculously self-confident. XD
