So I don't really know who knows this, but my dad is a pretty good table tennis (read: ping pong) player. Nationally ranked good. just saw observe and report.
don't go in if you want another Judd Apatow film.

It was honestly one of the darkest/unpredictable/strangest movies I've ever seen. But it's still generally funny at parts, but overall it was such a good 'dark' film.

ahh good to hear, thank you! i think i'll see it sometime this week.
i keep hearing the word "dark" used to describe it, but i never really understood how the word "dark" applies to comedy, unless as a substitute for "fucked up" or "ridiculously offensive".
so i'm pretty excited.

eh. you're using "comedy" in a very light sense. i wouldn't call it a comedy at all, just a drama with some very funny parts. there's a difference.
