Ryuk was a little bit confused. One minute, Nate had been at his desk, writing names and monologuing like usual, and the next he had disappeared. That was sort of strange. Ryuk looked everywhere -- even the bathrooms and under the sink, but no sign of him. it was just as if he had somehow disap----

Well this was out of the ordinary. Ryuk was just in the kitchen looking for Nate, when out of nowhere, he's floating in the middle of a very long hallway.
"Oh.How boring."
Ryuk continued down the corridor, peaking in to rooms seeing some people he recognized and other that he didn't. He was a little troubled that he was able to be seen, but whatever. Ryuk wasn't sure where he was, what mattered was where were the apples. Or alternatively, where was Nate?
