I'm so ready to give up

I have been on the worst track record of dating in my life. After this month, I will be retiring from dating. I can not do it anymore. I have finally lost my touch and it kills me. I'm so sorry, Doug. You don't deserve to be treated like that. Just always remember, you have friends who will always be close to you, so there is always a reason to live and never give up. So many people care about you and want to see you happy, and even though I have only known you for about six months, I consider you to be a great friend.

You are an integral part of the reason why life has improved for so many other individuals, including myself. We all become acquainted to certain ways of living, even when it comes to where we look to find a new date, but sometimes taking a chance in a completely different direction and looking some place new can bring about a whole new array of opportunities. Don't feel like you need to give up completely, Doug. So many people still have yet to meet the great person you are.

Word. Maybe it might be better to wait a while, take like a two week sabatical between dating prospects. That way maybe you can go over why you were drawn to the person, and why they weren't right. Be more selective, Doug. Don't lose hope.
