Today was my first day of work and Mia's first day of daycare. Yesterday was a tough day because she didn't want to sleep and then last night I couldn't sleep because of a clogged milk duct and brain working on overload. That made for a really tough morning. So, I am now officially an adult. I spent the day in typical girly fashion---at the mall! Mrk had supported my ideas of fancy-pants shopping and gave me gift certificate to Nordstrom's. I met some of the teachers for breakfast and then we proceeded to shop, shop, shop ( Read more... )

So it's day three & a half of having my nephew and I'd have to say that all in all it's going pretty well. Today we went to Build-A-Bear (yes, I am one of those parents) where A. proceeded to pick out a pretty girly unicorn to stuff. Mrk and I had a really nice, lazy weekend. We rediscovered the joys of lounging around in PJs, reading (Mrk had a comic book quota he was working on), napping, playing games, and watching Mia's myriad of faces.
