Until I've finished my exams

... No more short fic challenge. I'm sorry but there are more important things that I want to concentrate on rather than writing.

But, I'll leave you with something to smile about:

Three different extracts from things I'm writing.

Alex/Nate

Nate had always thought of himself as a real boy and more recently, a real man. And he had always gone for macho men. Honestly, he’d always known he was gay. He’d come out in high school, for God’s sake. No-one had expected it, not from him, the muscle-bound drummer. They had from the drama kids and the guy with a lisp in his English class, but not him.

He hadn’t gotten a boyfriend until after high school, when he realised that he wasn’t the only man that didn’t want a woman as a boyfriend. After that, he’d been able to find men he was attracted to. But when he met Alex for the first time, watched him move freely around the kitchen, Nate had really wished he could be in the bed that Alex was crawling into at night.

~~~
“Hey, dude, you can like make conversation. You don’t have to just watch me or anything,” Alex said, looking directly at Nate as he said this, his hands still kneading the pizza base.
“Nah, man. I like watching you. It’s cool.” Alex stopped working and turned towards Nate properly, eyes flicking towards the open door for a second. Nate glanced behind him as well, worried Gabe was standing in the doorway.
Nate/Gabe
As he entered the dressing room, Nate smiled a little. Gabe and William were talking quietly in a corner, communicating with half sentences, their eyes and hands. They didn't see him for a few moments, still encompassed in each other. When Gabe looked across, he grinned and waved Nate into the room from the doorway.
The drummer nodded and went to join them, careful not to intrude on the mass of limbs that was taking up the corner sofa. He had yet to turn his iPod off and engage them in conversation, but the two of them knew that he wouldn't be doing so until after the show. He was counting out the drum rhythms in songs that he had been listening to for years.
It distracted him. When Nate didn't have to hear what they were saying, didn't have to hear the way Gabe's voice would change for William, he could pretend that they really were just snugglebuds. Or whatever they called it so they could be obviously flirtatious in front of the press.
TAI/Panic GSF
"We should corrupt Panic." William turns to Carden and raises an eyebrow at him. "No, really. We should. Pete obviously hasn't yet, or they'd all be fucking." He stops and considers this for a moment. "Like rabbits."
"And how do you propose we go about corrupting minors, Mike?" Carden smirks and leaves the front room, heading outside. William sat there for a while after he'd left, thinking about it all.
~~~

"Brendon likes Jon." Siska piped up one day, out of the blue. William is the only one in the dressing room other than him and he presumes that Adam is talking to him.

"Probably. Why do people think I want to corrupt the likes of Panic anywho?" Siska looked at him and laughed, obviously expecting William to laugh with him. When he doesn't, Siska stops and sits down.

"But you corrupt everyone!" He shrieks, making William jump a little. He raises an eyebrow at Siska and stays still for a moment.

"Name one person I've corrupted." William watches the younger man for a while as he tries to come up with a name to present. "I rest my case." He finishes, before leaving the dressing room in search of some sanity.

~~~
"I hear you want to corrupt us." Spencer Smith was pressing William against a wall, giving him inappropriately smouldering looks. William smiled down at the younger boy and patted his head.
"You've been talking to my band." He raised his almost forgotten cigarette to his lips and took a drag.
~~~

"Aha! I knew you'd corrupt them." Siska shouted, bursting into the hotel room that William, Jon and three of the panic boys were currently occupying.

"Kinda hard to corrupt the corrupted Sisky Business." Jon smiled lazily at the shocked man.

"Don't forget to shut the door on the way out!" Ryan called from under Spencer's arms.

The last one's a bit long.
