I like how you made them able to still talk to each other after the incident.

This part was interesting to me. Usually the other person doesn't romantically like the other person at all or even try to in most unrequited fic.

It just seemed right that they should talk afterwards, like their relationship could withstand that stuff.
Does the unrequited thing seem unrealistic? I don't know. It's just like drawing from observations of situations like this, it made sense.
