Pairing: Bob/Mikey/Alicia
Most people don't get it. They don't get how Mikey and Alicia reached out from inside their box called 'marriage' and found Bob. It's an interesting thought, but that's not really what happened.
Bob found them. He found Mikey to be precise, curled up in the space between his hotel bed and the wall crying on the phone to his wife about how he didn't know how to make things better.
It's not like Bob came in and magically changed it all for the better, as he did for the band. He just let Mikey fall asleep in his arms and he let the smaller boy - Bob will always think Mikey has a child's soul - breathe heavily into his neck. When Alicia came to visit, he let her to do the same.
He never shared their bed with them, he shared his. He never minded, the two of them didn't have enough fat between them to trap him in their heat at night.
It never really struck him as strange, what they were doing. Not until he woke one morning to find them kissing over his chest. He grunted a little and shifted, trying to move out of the way, because he really didn't want to be in the way of that.
Instead, they encouraged him to join in. And eventually, it became just Mikey and him in a bed, calling Alicia and putting her on speakerphone to speak for hours on end. Bob finally started to realise how hard it was for the both of them - for Frank and Jamia, for Ray and Krista - to be apart for so long.
Needless to say, Bob still had a house in Chicago. It was just that he hadn't been back in two years. When he went to stay there, he stayed with his parents. He had tenants now, who he barely charged, so he couldn't even if he wanted to.
Mikey&Alicia with a a Bob-shaped gap had become Mikey&Bob&Alicia. And that was fine by them.
A/N: Yes, I realised that I missed out Gerard and Lyn-Z. Not because I'm like 'OMG! Gerard's so not married, GAH!', because I'm really not. They're cute together, but they met on tour, are both in bands and both chose to be doing what they do. Plus, look at this sentence:
'Bob finally started to realise how hard it was for the both of them - for Frank and Jamia, for Ray and Krista, for Gerard and Lyn-Z - to be apart for so long.'
Yeah, too much. So, no death threats please.
