The Years Arc. Also, pairing inspired by
two_way_street. I know, *hides*, I've already dedicated it to them. But they are my favourite writers of all time.
Pairing: trans!Frank/Gerard
"Frank?" Gerard winced a little, realising how he had shortened his girlfriend's name. It was too late to add the 'ie' onto the end and he just waited for Frankie to call back down to him.
"Yes, jackass?" He shook his head and climbed the stairs to the bedroom they had shared for three years. Clothes were spread over the floor and bed of the room but the wardrobe was empty.
"What are you doing?" Frankie emerged from the bathroom, clad in a bra and jeans. Gerard smiled at the sight of his girlfriend in this state. She had pulled her hair on to the top of her head and was now picking through the clothes.
"Trying to find something that's comfortable and doesn't make me look like a man." Gerard nodded as she began to look through the tops again. He sat down at the head of the bed and watched her move around the room. She was still the same person that she had been before... Before. She was his girl, and he liked that. He liked being curled up around her body at night, face pressed to the back of her hair.
He reached out in front of him and picked up a black tank top that he had always loved on her. It was plain, but he loved how the black showed the colours of Frankie's tattoos so much more. Gerard threw it at her head and giggled a little behind his hand as it hooked over her ear.
"Yeah." She paused, pulling the top over her head. "Yeah." She climbed onto the bed and up over Gerard's body.
"Hi," He said, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. "You ever thought of cutting this again?" Frankie smiled at him, but shook her head.
"So, now I'm dressed, what do you want to do?" She grinned up at him and leaned forward to kiss his jaw.
"Shut up and kiss me." Frankie took her boyfriend's arms and pushed them above his head.
"You kiss me."
A/N: I'm tired. This is bad. Sue me.
