Adam's used to hanging out with older people. He knows what he's doing with them and pretty much everyone he's ever been on tour with has been older than him. His band is the same age as his older brother, he's used to being the youngest. Except this tour, there's other people his age and Bill expects him to go and talk to them. Adam is so cute and oblivious - and I love the way he let go of his bromance conventions without the faintest trace of angst, just because Spencer is so freaking hot. I loved the little Jon Walker cameo - don't think I didn't see you sneaking him in! This was surprisingly light-hearted and adorkable, I loved it.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you meant, but there you are.The first time Brent brings Brendon to practice, Ryan raises his eyebrow at the skinny boy with a bowl hair cut, non-descript clothing and an almost aura of energy. He doesn't deal well with other people - he knows this, he's emotionally stunted, not stupid - and this boy is certain to be someone that Ryan won't get along with. He looks back to Spencer quickly and they share a look as Brent helps Brendon set up his guitar. They listen to Brendon play and Spencer waits until Ryan nods his head to smile and tell Brendon that yes, they want him. Spencer, Brendon and Brent sort out all the scheduling and whether or not Brent can drive Brendon to practice on Thursdays. Ryan doesn't make any connections with Brendon and he's fine with that ( ... )
