No, he didn't need to point it out. Leo knew how much they started to hound those kids after they had come in..and he also knew how many of those kids they had saved. It wasn't a high precentage, but even if it was just one, they had done something right. Besides, everyone in Boy Toy Alley was watched. Maybe not by a patrol car with it's lights whirling, but Leo knew several officers who would make it a point to drive that route to get to their locations.

It was a topic that neither one of them would win with eachother, so Leo just let it drop. Let it drop in favor of dipping his fingers into the damp small of the kid's back, fingertips trailing over the ticklish spot there.

"You were bleeding, Jim..."

But nevertheless, he nodded and manuvered them towards the bedroom. He needed to lay down, needed to hold that warm body in his arms, needed to tell himself that Jim was there, safe and that everything was going to be okay at work.

Another shrug at that comment, and Jim shifted as his skin shivered, tickled by that brush of fingers. Walking with Bones, he kissed the other man's shoulder, making a conscious effort to walk properly, and hide that effort. "People bleed," he said lightly, and shucked the towel to crawl into bed, turning to tug the covers up as he waited for Bones to join him. He couldn't promise that everything would be okay, but he was already working out the lies he'd tell to try and save Bones' job.

He didn't want the kid to lie. Lies were sloppy and if his story didn't match with Jim's, then they would know that -someone- was lying. And since he knew how those guys worked, they would assume that the 'nice' story was the lie.

Besides, everyone knew him down at the Precinct. Leo couldn't lie to save his life. All anyone had to do was watch his fucking eyebrows of all things.

Shucking out of his well worn jeans and tee shirt, he left his boxers on for once. Usually, he slept just as naked as Jim was, but then, usually he was naked before the actual sleeping and then just fell asleep afterwards. Tonight? Tonight, he wanted the cloth reminder for in the morning when his brain was going to be fuzzy and still mostly asleep when he rolled over to bury himself in that body.

Sliding into bed, he flipped the covers up, cocooning them in warmth and softness as he shifted to pull the kid into his arms and pillow his head on his chest.

Jim can lie very well, though, and he intended to make it work. He just needed a little time to work it all out, that was all. Eying the boxers, he said nothing, instead moving to curl up against the older man. Sliding his legs along Bones', Jim settled his cheek against the doctor's chest, nose pressed against his skin.

He was tired, but didn't sleep easily, too busy calculating what he might be asked, what he might say - what might happen if he said this and not that, or maybe this instead of-- there was a lot to consider.
