Oh Wow, that was really really well written.
Just beautiful. I loved the crack in her heart imagry and how you went on to describe how Lily wanted to hold it all together...

Thank you. I always imagine that it mist have been really hard for Lily to let go, after all, she had hated him, or thought she did, probably for most of their school years. Being that she is Lily...and a redhead, which I have had some experience with, giving in would be the hardest thing for her.
