This was AWESOME! I loved it. Loved the incoporation of the song lyrics and how well it fit into their own relationship. Too good.

Thank you! I was a bit wary of the incorporation of the song (not a big fan of song!fic) but I think Matt's character really identifies with Dylan's lyrics (he quoted them once on the show to Julie) and that maybe in that kind of situation he'd feel as if the lyrics where telling his own story, you know?

Glad you enjoyed it and can't wait for that story of yours. There is no such things as too many happy endings, I say.

That was effing perfect, dude. First of all, it was a perfect 'first time' for Miss Julie, and I would love to read about the Morning After, if you're so inclined. Secondly, these details that you throw in, like brilliant character traits.

Smash and Landry, that's so completely true and I never noticed it!

I loved the part about Julie's red pedicure- I feel like it's something she would have picked up as Tami Taylor's daughter.

And this line?

Tries a smile that comes out lopsided and probably looks completely retarded but what the hell.

Honestly, he's at his most adorable when he smiles like that. When Matt Saracen is about 25, he's going to figure out what kind of effect that smile has on women- and the world is going to be in trouble.
