So we just met with the neighbors, and we've settled on a plumber! Now I just have to call them tomorrow to tell them we've chosen them, and schedule a time.

I'm so excited that this is getting done!

ETA: They're going to start on the 20th! Whoopee!

Woo! Is repiping expensive? I think about it occasionally, and I fear.

Yes. But not as horribly expensive as you'd think. Granted, my frame of reference has recently changed, as I'm taking on big expenses. Our four-unit building is gonna be $13,000, which is $3,250 a unit. I think a whole house would run around $2K-$4K, depending on number of bathrooms and access (two stories are more difficult than one, etc.)
