( Today, like most days for the past month or so, Jason is spending the afternoon working on his tree house. It’s really come together over the past few weeks-a simple but sturdy rectangular structure with a slanting roof hidden between the leaves and a couple rope-and-wood ladders dangling down from the platform

[At a certain point as he is rooftop hopping a little girl in a pink spring coat will stand behind him, and says, in her rather distinctive voice.]

"Well that is very impressive."

( Jason's feeling a bit more enthusiastic than normal today. )

It is, isn't it? I missed it. A lot.

[Shana's hair turns red, and her eyes blaze like suddenly lit torches, and cinders begin to shed from her body.]

"I"ll bet. What a nice thing to have back." [She smiles, demonstrating her own regained abilities by creating a bit of fire on her fingertip.]

I knew that would be cool! ( he eyes the frame appreciatively. )

Seems like a lot of people have gotten stuff back, lately.

[[He's been slacking on the tree house project. Having a broken leg will do that.

Though he still runs the occasional errand and spots Jason doing... Well he's not sure what the heck he is seeing.]]

Hey, Aaron! How's it going--feeling better?

I'm limping along pretty good... how do you do that?

[[More important than a stupid broken leg. Jason floated!]]

It's easy, actually. I just control the air currents and make sort of a buffer around my body so I rise.

I guess I might've at one point, but I sorta forgot a bunch of stuff before I got here. Sorry.

[Crowe's been busy lately, and he hasn't been around often as he could be to work in the treehouse. Today when he comes by, though, he finds Jason floating in mid-air near it.]

Um. Nice trick.

I'd like to think so. Convenient, too.

I'll say. That could've been a bad fall, otherwise.

[He climbs up into the treehouse to get on level with Jason.] I guess you just got that ability back recently?

Looks like it. Didn't really realize it until now--but that's how it happened the first time, too.
