(Jay might not want to read this one, just super mad at the moment) I do not dislike all rebublicans, just the plain evil ones. Cheney is very high on my list, I believe he should be put on a rack and have his limbs slowly pulled from his creeepy little body. Of course, the fellow who he "accidentally" shot during a hunting trip, should be allowed

Heh. I know you tend to think that I'm a Republican, but in truth, I'm not. I'm more of a Libertarian than anything. I'm economically very conservative and socially pretty much moderate (I don't think the government knows how best to spend my money, thanks. I also don't think the government should redistribute wealth). For example, I voted for Perot both times because I didn't like either party. I also recently voted for Kinky Friedman for Texas Governor for the same reason.

I often do end up voting Republican because I really can't stand all the spending that the Dems do; that said, the last administration really went over-drive on the spending, too, which is one of the reasons why the Republican brand is having so much trouble these days.

I hated the Patriot Act. It reminded me of communist Russia when they had gulags and government towers spying on all the citizens. :-/

Libertarians for the win!

BTW, you should not vote main party just because you feel your vote is wasted by voting 3rd party, it is that mind set that keeps the 3rd parties small. Also, there are percentage thresholds that reduce the operational costs of the parties, so let's say that the libertarians get 3% of the vote in an election (for example) it could make it $100,000 cheaper for them to enter the election the next go-round. It is these rules that keep the main parties large and the 3rd parties small...
