Best Finale Theory Ever (Not Mine) ***spoilers***

May 08, 2009 09:04

After trying to twist my own theory around to make sense, I have happened upon one that makes TOTAL sense in every way.

FIND IT HERE

This makes the most sense out of everything I've read/thought/discussed.

I know, right? This would be perfect. I mean, like she said, we all know they're getting together at some point, knowing that 'one day' they do the deed just cranks up the UST, and it totally fits with the title.
*happy dance*

Must say I'm with you on that. Can you imagine the ficcage that comes from this theory? Wow.

Exactly!? What I'm wondering is, what would be the cliffhanger that will end the episode? If it's something that alters their relationship one would think it would have to be related to something big like real rightnow!sex. Because how would showing us futurereal!sex alter anything at all?

Maybe this is just me wanting them to finally get it on for real. Because, it's not like the both of them would have the exact same vision of themselves in the future. Though I do like this idea of showing them in the future a lot, and it really really works with what we've seen--btw, whose bed are they sleeping in?

I always thought the cliffhanger would be something like them getting temporarily split up, as ED said in an interview that the way season five starts out would not work with a going-abroad episode.

Wow...I think I just wrote a lot. Hope it's coherent!

I'd be very pleasantly surprised if this is actually what happens. I love Bones, but I admit I don't have the level of faith in its writers that it would require to believe that this is what is going to happen next ep.

I have faith that they have good intentions. Not that they actually pull this one off.

I think they like to be (try to be) very clever. And they always toot their horn about how they push the envelope with their science. Maybe this is one of those envelope-pushing moments.

I absolutely agree with you about their good intentions. It's not like they'd want their show to NOT do well. :)

Maybe this is one of those envelope-pushing moments.

Only a few more days till we find out. If nothing else, the spec has sure been fun!

Isn't it though? I'm thrilled you've jumped back into the fray.

I really like this theory and it would make me happy to see it! Every future episode would take us closer to this happy ending and that would be wonderful to see!!

It's the only theory that really jives well with all of the spoilers we've gotten so far. But for some reason I'm still just unsure that this is what will actually happen.

Hm. When I read this before my last meeting I was all OMG OMG OMG \o/ THEORY FTW! But... during my meeting (unbeknownst to the other meeting participants) I was thinking about the theory and now I'm kind of... not sure ( ... )

After reading everyone's comments, I think that there are some holes in this theory although it does seem to jive with almost every spoiler.

Biggest 'hmmm' for me: how do we know this is Future!(Real)!Sex and not some wonky drug-induced hallucination?

Does Booth know this is some sort of glimpse into the future and that's how the UST gets cranked up? Because he knows the inevitable now? But she's still clueless?

(notice the overuse of question marks - I'm clearly befuddled)
