I think I broke my foot. I dropped a very expensive tool and used my foot to stop it from falling on the concrete. Now I wish I had broken it myself. I can walk. I limp a bit today but its not swolen or bruised. I'm constantly harming myself. I guess working with cancer causing chemicals is not quite enough for me ( Read more... )

Ooooh! Nice raise.

People tried to avenge Steve Irwin's death? Weird!

Bindi has a show? Weird! (She is really cute though!)

Yeah!!! They would capture sting rays and cut off their tails. Stupid stupid stupid.

Bindi has a show, on Animal Planet I think, called Bindi The Jungle Girl. I recommend letting the little ones give it a try.

The Mayans are definitely underappreciated for their skills but mostly because they stopped developing and the people in the "old world" had surpassed them by the time they met each other. I am not entirely knowledgeable with the Mayan calendar but other cultures also had calendars with didn't require leap years (research the Pagan 13 month calendar).

I have heard a lot of projections, or dooms-day prophesies that give this century as the "end-of-times." I would like to put forth a theory given by a 19th century writer (I forgot his the name)that the world experiences cycles of chaos that repeat every 2000 years or so. Perhaps the prophesies are for an end to the current order of things and not the end of the actual world or human kind. In either case if the world is going to end there is little or nothing we can do about it so we all should just try to be happy.
Hope you get to go to the show. TTYL.
