Seriously, I could never become a pop musician. If I ever got super-duper talented enough, I'd just end up doing everything Ben Folds has been doing for the past 10+ years.

I believe he once described his style as "punk rock for sissies". Yeah, that pretty much covers me.

Yay Ben Folds; meh John Mayer. I went to see him [Mayer] with friends a few years ago just for the hell of it, though. I'm not that a big a fan.

See, I'm kinda the opposite. My husband digs Ben Folds A LOT, so I've gotten to know his stuff pretty well. My favorite is Battle of Who Could Care Less.

John Mayer, on the other hand, is 1. Hot as HELL now that he's letting his hair grow a bit and put on a few pounds, and 2. Mood music. When I'm in the mood for him, there's nothing else that will do. He's got such a husky voice, and he writes really poignant lyrics. Now, mind you, I wouldn't put on Mayer if I was going to the gym (I'm more likely to go with Kanye West or Nine Inch Nails then) unless I wanted to poop out in the first ten minutes.
