He wandered about the dam, trying to get his thoughts in order.
Eventually, he walked into her lab. It didn't surprise him in the least. After all, her calming presence always managed to help him re-center himself.

Right now, she felt like tearing something up, so this seemed like a great thing to do. If she can find the kinds of wires she needs, she can fix that old monitor, and then she can get back to locking down everything.
But no, she didn't notice Six enter.

"...Holiday?" he asked cautiously, trying to keep his voice down so he didn't startle her.

"Oh, Six. I... didn't think anyone would still be up," she stood, trying to act like nothing was going on and nothing had happened, "What do you- Ah. Sorry."
Her hair. Good God, it's everywhere. She takes it out of the bun, trying to fix it back in place again. "What did you need?"

Tonight was one of those nights where he'd spent far too much time awake, and his body craved nothing but sleep. Of course, that meant that all of his shields--mental, physical, and emotional--were lowered. It was a good thing he was among friends at the dam since he'd otherwise be an easier target than normal.

Only difference was that Six didn't bring her coffee and a lecture at one in the morning anymore.
Didn't really matter. She could get her own coffee and she was partly grateful to have done away with the lectures. Partly...
Coffee is actually where she was headed at the late hour, not really watching much on where she was going...

He needed to keep walking. Just a little farther. Just keep going.
He stopped in the middle of the hallway, looking about in confusion. Right now, every hall looked like every other hall. It was almost like Providence all over again.

That would have never happened if he didn't look so... was "lost" the word?
... OH GOD WAS IT- No. No. He's still locked up. You just seen that. Besides, even that thing would have noticed her... but why didn't-
"Six?"
As soon as she said it, she realized that it was probably because he didn't want to notice her. Smooth. Maybe she should keep walking, anyway.
