Thoughts and such

So this is my second week back in school and boy are my nerves tired. :)

Actually things are going well, I just have to get used to longer days and more freshly pubescent Mattel creatures bouncing aimlessly around my ankles as I attempt to dodge brain cancer from all of the open cell phones.  Much like their phones, the college creatures mouth's are ( Read more... )

I think it's great that you're back in school looking to do something different. Don't worry that you don't know what yet. I don't know either. :)

Wait... I know where the HSC Computer Lab is. I can bug the heck out of you, and you'll just have to sit there. Bwah ha ha!

Also, it's not a "yer old" thing. I'm young enough not to know what goose-stepping is, and I still hate my fellow students for being mobile blocks of meat that I can't eat.

Dude, try tutoring athletes and a small state school. Getting them to acknowledge the book was a challenge....

I feel your pain.

Hell, that is what an undergrad class in college is to anyone with more than four brain cells. A hell populated by the drunk, the stoned, and the stoopid there as daddy's legacy baby. Ugh.

If being a student did not get me freaking awesome ILL powers, I would have been done with that shite years ago...

As it is, I think you should go for something where you can scare the crap out of evildoers. You're smart AND scary, an awesome combination.

Yeah, man, what she said - be a super hero! Get a cape. Roll around in some uranium. Rock on!

And if that doesn't work out, well, you still have school and plenty of time for choices. :)

To be fair.. we only have the first two of these.. there are no legacy students *as such* here. (Not to say there aren't children of alumni, just that they get no special treatment in admissions or financial aid.)

Oh, and you don't have to be a student to get ILL anymore. Most public libraries will do it now, too, or you can just, you know, *work* at a college or university.
