It's been too long, woman--I thought you'd abandoned me! I heard about your quick "word"--I swear you should have seen the kicked-puppydog look on my boyfriend's face. You've still got it.
Don't spread it around that I put that bruise there--it still makes me go all nauseous when I look at it. I thought he deserved it at the time, but..you know how things change. I'm just glad we're all back together again.
You're going to cook for me?! Man, you really must be feeling guilty for not coming to see me last time in the infirmary! *grin* I'd love to, Katie--you know I would. I miss you so much, especially since all this has been going on. We'll see--I'll let you know if either of them will be coming-I think Marc's still a little wary of ya.
