Hmmm... i pretty much thought to myself "I want to make a hyena character... but i don't want her to be just another brown, spotted beast. ...what will make her unique? ...ROBOT."

Yeah, when i do backgrounds like this i enjoy making them synergize with the character. The character is drawn first... which allows me to make the background work with them and frame their form.
