there is a youtube segment that has subtitles, but I dont reccomend it. the translations are not very accurate and make it sound much more ominous and violent than it actually is. The fact that the one with subtitles is set to nationalistic symbols and pictures of israeli jets bombing lebanon doesnt help any. you're better off just implying the meaning from the context. the important thing to know is that its a song about kicking nasrallah's ass, along with all of hezbolla. it came out in 2006 when hezbolla was lobbing rockets at Israeli cities. as you can see from this music video it was intended to be dark comedy and a little fun at Israel's enemies' expense. Some pro-israel turds in the USA of course took it literally and at face value and hence all of the comedy is lost in their butchered translation. my advice, dont bother with the one with subtitles.

I thought the lyrics funny enough, though I can see how the footage might be seen as over the top/in poor-taste. The comic antics of the other footage certainly didn't evoke scenes of slaughter and destruction.

Bit how did that icon macro go now, "In dealing with Arab aggression, much of the world would like to see us use restraint. But we choose Indirect Fire! Love, the IDF."

well in addition to the footage being over the top and in poor taste the translation wasnt terribly accurate and made it seem a bit more ominous than it actually was. The original artist said the song was meant to both poke fun at the enemy to keep spirits up and to poke a little fun at old nationalistic Israeli songs from the 60s and 70s, which would amuse Israelis.

I used to have that icon that said "YOU use restraint...WE will continue using...indirect fire...love, the IDF". But I replaced it with the one you see here because it was no longer timely and I was contending with "red dawn" on politicsforum. I thought nothing would piss them off more than being banned by a guy using an icon of everyone's favorite moustached Georgian.

My sister and I discovered a few years ago that if we cannot get a song out of our head, we hum "Girl From Ipanema" and if you get THAT song in your head, hey.. cool.. Girl From Ipanema. :)

Secret is to do a small dance with it.

Not sure what would irritate people more, me humming Girl from Ipanema, or Your Mother's Got a Penis around the office.

However, this morning, it is neither. I have been singing this since I woke up.

I dont think the girl from ipanema trick would work on me. but look on the bright side, its a little tougher to hum rap songs.

your "puto" song is old news though. I first heard that (or something along its lines) 9 years ago.

"Your mother's got a penis", by the way, is just plain awesome.

but most unfortunately it can't replace yalla ya nasralla for simple catchiness.
