Meme!

Because I've not been tagged for a wee while, and, uhm… Meme! Tagged by thesme_01

Rules;
1. People who have been tagged should write their answers in their blogs and replace any questions they dislike with a new, original questions of their own.

2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.

1. List five things you can see without moving:
Computer
Wrigley's Spearmint gum
Korbond sewing needles
Dettol antiseptic wash
'Superstition' by Siouxsie and the Banshees

2. How do you style your hair? What's your stubble up to right now?
(Question edited due to being practically bald)
It's on about day 5 of growth - the point where I'm reminded that I have more of a goatee beard than anything else. Also, more grey hairs have been cropping up (almost a half dozen now!), along with some that seem more like cactus spikes.

3. Which do you use more often, the dictionary or the thesaurus?
Neither. Because I have The Internets ;) But on the internets? Generally dictionary.com, because I have to deal with my mildly dyslexic mother-in-law (it turns out that 'illusive' is a real word, meaning 'like an illusion', even though she meant 'elusive' ;) )

4. What's your occupation?
[/spartaaaa] Uhm… I'll say 'self employed'.

5. What are you wearing right now?
Slippers, no socks, dark blue jeans, thinly-striped white & blue shirt, black waistcoat with old cheap pocket watch that I finally got a replacement battery for last week.

6. What's one sneaky thing you like doing?
Eating foods! I also like this activity when not-so-sneaky ;)

7. What are you thinking about right now?
The incredible effect a £1.34 HDMI cable (no P&P, wheeee!) has had on Dragon Age & DA2 (halcyon_shift is playing DA right now, to get her very own backstory for DA2), how to finish off this meme thing, my friends and their problems, how I'm finally going to write a bloody synopsis for a book thing I've written, and how I'm going to be spending my weekend doing hefty amounts of concrete after spending a lot of this week tearing up hefty amounts of concrete, or stone, or earth.

8. Dog person or cat person?
Pet person. Raised by with dogs, love dogs, met cats, have cat, love cats.

9.Write the first word that comes to mind.
Capacity.
Because thesme_01 said it first. But right after that comes 'marketable', and I have no idea why.

10. Does your family know of your fandom/lj/ porn addiction? And if not, how hard to you have to work to keep it from them?
No fandom addiction (I view them from a distance, and occasionally squee, but I limit myself ;) ), no LJ addiction (my brother's here, over at fetishman), and no porn addiction (although I'd have no reason to hide it, considering my brother's LJ *s*)

11. A project you want to finish? Just one? Short term or long term?
Synopsis for book! Because then I can finally start working on the next book which has been hatching inside my tender headmeats.

12. What are you doing this weekend?
Digging and concrete and carefully laying slabs of slate in concrete and swearing when it goes wrong and realising I've had a dozen cups of tea in only a few hours and my bladder may explode and gaaah back pain. But, you know, worth it when it's done ;)

13. How are you? Truly?
I'm fine, and my name's not Truly, although I am indeed Scrumptious. I could be doing more, but all in all… Happy :)

14. What are you doing tomorrow?
Digging trenches for concrete, watching the skip being taken away full of old, dead concrete… Basically preparing for the weekend's work.

15. What are you looking forward to the most?
Going to bed on Sunday evening after the concrete is all done. Well, assuming it's all done. (...Pleeease let it be done...)

16. Last thing you did?
Made a lovely cup of tea, and didn't get ice-cream because halcyon_shift decided she didn't want any, after all.

17. What did you do today?
HULK SMASH!!… concrete. Hulk find rainwater pipe under concrete, and Hulk finally work out how the bloody pipes are organised under that bit of bloody concrete that Hulk can't safely move.

18. What is your dream occupation?
Writer / Film & TV extra. Technically I am the second one (signed up with an agency), and also the first (I've been writing stuff), but, um, no.

19. What is your favourite kind of pie?
I like pie. Many types, if done well. Or badly, but deliciously.

(Edited because I got the price wrong by FIVE WHOLE PENCE!!)

And now, I tag anyone that wants to give it a whirl. Because I'm not 100% sure I have 8 people on my flist that haven't done this already ;)
