The rumors just came true. The newest MMO has been announced:
Star Wars: The Old Republic

Now I tried Star Wars Galaxies and it was poop.  I chalk that up to the fact it was done by Sony OnLine Entertainment.  But this one is done by the same people that did Knights of the Old Republic.  And it is going to be Story driven like World of Warcraft.
