I fortunately did to get venture home in august to visit family and also to get my quota of florida lobster. I'm only usually allowed to take what I have caught but lately my dad's cholesterol has been up so my mom has been been encouraging me to take more. This year I decided to held over to the vet fraternity to watch the derby with a bunch of students, being my partner in crime was at Disney with her family. It was a smart decision. Although it was only a handful of students, it was nice to be amongst others who enjoy the sport. Copies of computer printed racing forms were scattered about the room ( Read more... )

So I finally had the chance to go with the equestrian team to a national championship (been trying to go for the last 4 years without success). I thoroughly enjoyed myself, got a chance to get to know the girls better, bond with the support staff, and take time to be notavet but a team member.
